A Proverbs 31 woman’s husband is praised among the city gates.
Let me tell you something about my husband.
Eric is the man behind all of this and has been since day 1.
Even when he didn’t understand it.
In the beginning, even when he didn’t believe in deliverance, he still bought my white street ministry tent.
Even when he didn’t understand.
Then slowly it turned to bigger things.
My husband is the man behind the action.
For an example, this last week, on the day of the retreat, we had a random wind storm that took out my patio table and shattered glass all over our yard. My husband came home and cleaned up every tiny little piece and then went and picked up another patio set just to make sure the girls had a place to sit.
He mowed the entire land for hours.
He put together furniture, cleaned out rooms, he went shopping with me, helped me pick out beds, comforters, sheets all while in between working long hard over time shifts to bring power back in the storms.. and yet he made the time.
He also sacrifices his home every retreat and goes to stay with his parents so I can have the house to myself.
That’s not even the half of it, he also sacrifices time with me.
As God uses me to bind families and marriages together, He is faithfully binding mine together too.
I am falling more in love with this man every day.
Eric King, the man behind this Kingdom ministry.
A man of humility and honor and asks for nothing in return.
Doesn’t seek praise.
Doesn’t seek recognition.
Doesn’t want material gain.
I love this man.
“Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.”
Proverbs 31:23
