1 When you live in the shelter, of the Most High.
You rest in the shadow of, El Shaddai.
2 I will say of The Lord,
“He is my refuge and my fortress!
He is my God of faithfulness.”
3 From the fowler’s snare, you will be saved.
He’ll rescue you, from the deadly plague.
4 His feathers are your protection,
hide under his wings, to avoid detection.
His faithfulness will be your defensive deflection.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
by day no fear of the arrow in flight.
6 No fear for disease, that comes under the moon,
nor the plague, that destroys at noon.
7 With many thousands dying and disaster all around,
nothing will harm you, as you remain safe and sound.
8 As the wicked face punishment and damnation,
you will look on, in observation!
9 Because The Lord, is your place to hide,
the Most High, lives right by your side.
10 You’ll sense no evil detection,
safe from plague infection!
11 For he will give his angels charge over you
and guard you; in everything that you do.
12 With their hands, they lift you, to the safety zone,
so you don’t strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and rattlesnake,
trample and crush, without pain or ache!
14 Then God says,
“Because you acknowledge, I am, ‘I Am’,
I’ll always protect you, with my rescue plan.
15 I will always answer, when you call.
I’ll be with you, in times of trouble.
I’ll deliver and honour you all, without a fall.
16 I’ll bless you, with a long life of gratification,
and show you joy in my salvation!”
