God says the road is narrow to the gate and few will find it.
When I think of a narrow road, I think of train tracks.
It’s a one track mind.
Headed for Glory.
Keeping your eyes fixated on what is ahead and not looking back.
For one looking back isn’t even fit to put their hand to the plow.
Why is the road narrow?
Why do few find this gate?
This narrow gate takes being called a fool, being accused, being rejected, being laughed at.
This road means that you don’t get to give into worldly pleasures just because they make your flesh feel good.
This road means that you choose to die daily to your self and serve others first.
This train means you choose Holiness.
“This train is bound for Glory, this train is bound for Glory-all who ride it must be Holy, this train.”
This road means that you choose daily to ask God to search you and know you and see if there is any wickedness in you and obey Him when HE calls it out.
This road means you choose to be the set apart one.
This road means that you sacrifice being the weird one.
This road means you may not even fit in among the religious ones.
Many will travel this road alone.
